Coco PCOS Tracker is owned by Om Tripathi. Your cycle, symptom, medication, and lab entries are stored on your device by default. We do not sell health data, we do not share it with advertisers, and nothing leaves your phone unless you explicitly turn on backup or export a report yourself.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how Coco PCOS Tracker (“the app”, “we”) handles your information when you use cycle tracking, PCOS Mode, symptom logging, medication logging, lab tracking, insights, and doctor exports. The app is owned and operated by Om Tripathi.
2. Data we handle, and where it lives
- Health data you log — periods, flow, cycle dates, symptoms (acne, hair changes, weight, fatigue, bloating, mood, sleep, skin), medications and supplements (for example metformin, inositol, spironolactone, birth control), adherence records, and manually entered lab markers (for example testosterone, LH/FSH, insulin, glucose).
Stored on your device by default. You can use PCOS Mode without creating an account. - Insights and predictions — cycle-day, pattern, and correlation insights are computed from your logs. Correlation insights are rule-based and generated on your device.
- Optional backup data — only if you turn on cloud backup. See section 4.
- Basic app diagnostics — crash and stability information that helps us keep the app working. This never includes your symptom, medication, or lab entries.
3. What we never do
- We do not sell your health data. Ever, to anyone.
- We do not share your health data with advertisers, data brokers, or social platforms.
- No third-party analytics, advertising, or attribution SDK receives your symptom, medication, or lab data. That data category is excluded at the architecture level, not just by policy.
- We do not use your health data to build advertising profiles or to train third-party models.
4. Optional cloud backup and sync
Cloud backup is off by default and opt-in. If you turn it on, your backed-up entries are transmitted and stored encrypted, solely so you can restore your history or move to a new device. You can turn backup off and delete the backup at any time from the Privacy Center. Turning it off stops future uploads; deleting removes what was stored.
5. Sharing your own data, on purpose
Doctor exports (PDF/CSV) and any provider summary link are created only when you ask for them. Once you hand a file or link to someone else, that copy is outside our control — share it only with people you intend to. Time-limited share links expire and can be revoked by you.
6. Your controls
- Export — one tap, all of your data, no support ticket needed.
- Delete — one tap to erase your data from the device and from any backup you enabled.
- Mode — PCOS Mode can be switched on or off at any time in Settings without losing entries.
- Reminders and notifications — you choose whether medication or logging reminders are on.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, restrict, or object to processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Because your health data is local-first, most of these rights are exercised directly in the app.
7. Legal requests
We can only hand over data we actually hold. Health entries kept on your device are not in our possession, so we cannot produce them. If we receive a lawful request for information we do hold, we review it, push back where it is overbroad, and notify affected users where we are legally permitted to.
8. Retention
Local entries stay on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Optional backups are retained while backup is enabled and deleted when you turn it off or delete your data. Diagnostic records are kept for a short, limited period.
9. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will help remove the data.
10. Changes and contact
If we change how data is handled in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Questions or requests: itsomtripathi@gmail.com.
